The Lufia 2 flashbacks are overpowering. But that's good.

The completely nonsensical collision detection would wreck a real bullet hell game. Fortunately for you guys, this is more of a casual intro to the genre.

Second tutorial can't be finished, because controls stop responding. Lots of text glitches.

Llama, Etruis: The pulsing circle around your ship is the absorption aura. Make that circle hit bullets, and you will gain shot energy to fire back at the enemies. Note that this does not neutralize the bullets. This is very similar to "Graze" mechanics in many other Bullet Hell games. Re: lasers-- Oh god I hate lasers. Even having beaten them, I hate lasers.

This is, hands-down, the most fun I've ever had with a bullet hell game. I hate bullet hell games. Hate them. Absolutely despise them. Too much rote memorization of patterns, mostly. But you avoided that, or made it easier, by incorporating expendable HP and cuing things to the music. I can't tell which happened, but it was enough to keep me playing until I got a full gold board. This is artwork, Rete.
