The Music Catch games are some of my favorites. A couple of years ago I was in a situation that left me stressed out and kind of depressed day after day after day for an extended amount of time. The one day I found myself playing Music Catch 2 then 1 and I felt myself relax for the first time in months.
Playing these games out of order, finished Murder Case first then came to this.
The fun of going, "Oh how did the pizza place get such a poor reputation when it was said to have been so clean?" To, "Oh, that's how. We're horrible!"
I actually enjoyed the fact that this game allowed me to figure out the mechanics of the game, nothing is more frustrating than generally knowing what to do already but still having to go through a tedious tutorial, but I still had to look to the game instructions to know that I only needed to use my mouse to click and play.
As mentioned by others the game rolling over to level one is a bit jarring. I don't need a screen to congratulate or thank me for playing but something to indicate that it there aren't any new levels would be nice.
Can't play because of built it ads it seems. It looks like it's about to start but then goes to a black screen. This and a few other esthetix games are doing this, went to play on their site and had to wait through a few ads before I was able to play.
IMO there were too many stages. After 8 I started to hope some of the doors wouldn't open so I could get to the end. I actually took a break and finished the rest at a later day and honestly even then it felt like a grind to get to the end.
It's a good game, yes it's basically a copy of Monument Valley with a different story, still fun and interesting for those who hasn't played but felt a bit clunky and overlong.
Held out until that dragon was slain, but then held out for Chester. Only thing I regret is not telling the wizard yes that I had seen Pancake, I wasn't sure who Pancake was. Also I was suspicious of the butler and the tea, think he was trying to get me addicted.
I don't know if the shortness of this game is on purpose or not given the theme of an addicted stereotypical gamer neglecting everything from his own health, home, and pet to play. We could either complain that this was very short or go outside do something, clean up, make sure our pets/loved ones are cared for. With that I'm off to take out the trash.
At first I groaned thinking that it would be another swap this for that puzzle game that I could mindlessly luck my way through. I've played enough of the same game only with a different look. But this may look the same it's rather different, I find myself taking much longer pauses to actually look over the puzzle trying to find the spells and trying to predict which move will get me the spell that I need/want.
The strange thing is in most of these escape games the mechanics and puzzles used to escape are strange and a bit far out given you're escaping a normal room. With this once you understand the concept the methods to escape makes more sense.
