Some personal preferences here, I would like to not slow down at cleared planets, higher caps (even use research points to increase them is fine), use research points to increase researchers effectiveness, some kind of reward for completing all research of a specific level of research (gold, increase research effectiveness, something). I know about the click and hold for crew, but how about a +/- 10 button too.
I wish the game would let you know information about the next equipment upgrade, like how much it will increase your stats and how much in resources it will cost. I'm now stuck waiting because of the level IV shield... :(
I found a glitch where you click outside of the enemy to run away, then click back on the enemy, and now the enemy and I are on the same square, not fighting, and I am stuck. On a good note, I love the game.
I hid it because I wanted people to go nuts the first time they play and not worry about pars. If this gets lots of upvotes though I'll put it back in.
Can I make a suggestion for leveling up? I would recommend that when you level up, you get to see the stats either as you hover the button or if it pops up in the corner after clicking it without having to close out the upgrade menu.
There is a multiplier for the cost of each upgrade of the companies, lemonade 7%, newspaper 15%, carwash 14%, pizza 13%, donuts 12%, shrimp 11%, hockey 10%, movie 9%, bank 8%, oil 7%. the formula total price of shop for excel is FV(percent change, wanted level - current level, current value) =FV(.14,100-50,1860002)
So when going from 200 to 300, the initially cheaper shops become considerably more expensive.
Just incase anyone is wondering, there is a formula to figure the total amount needed to get to a specific level, say you are at 25 and want to get to 50 on shrimp
I use 5 cells in a row: first is name of business, second is cost of next upgrade, third is current level of shop, fourth is desired level, and fifth is where the formula goes. (THIS ASSUMES YOU USED THR FIRST ROW FOR NAMING)
=FV(0.13,D2-C2,B2)
There needs to be an option to use they keyboard for your boost power. I keep dying, again and unnecessarily, because I have to move my mouse over to that little button.
4/5 While a great game and I love the upgrade system, but there are several issues that knock it down one start, almost two purely based on frustration. I don't mind the death screen animation, but I would like it removed for sudden death matches. When you die, it just goes straight into the "Try again/Retry" screen. Second issue, on the screen where you die or pass the level, add keyboard shortcuts so we can retry "r" or continue "spacebar". Third is the computer AI, while helpful, it needs work with picking the closest enemy and the archer just needs to fire at will, not get into "proper range". it's like watching kids looking for something and you are not allowed to help, as they walk by it and over it again and again. In your head you are screaming "IT"S RIGHT THERE!!! KILL THAT GUY RRIIIIGGHHTTT NEEEXXTT TO YOOUUUU!!!!!" Fourth, I would like the ability to assign priority targets for whom my companions go after first. Fifth, get rid of ranged attackers in the sudden death matches.
I love the idea behind the game, and so far the mechanics are awesome. Just wishing you could build a fleet of ships, based of your experience, you could upgrade the amount of ships under your helm! I have also noticed that you can re-buy the same ship you have, thus just wasting necessary money.
The trick to the lawnmower is finding the "sweet spot". The DPS changes as you move the mower around. Just keep track of the highest DPS, then hit escape and leave it there.
Being that enemies have infinite mana and the ability to summon enemies whenever they desire, while you are not immune to anyting, WHY ARE BOSSES IMMUNE TO EVERYTHING??????
