One of those great games but with the worst model for income generation for the developers. I actually enjoyed playing it. But seeing that tokens are integrated in each and every mechanic and feature of the game as a requirement to further play it, and not integrated as a bonus to further enjoy it, I was dismayed since the game is actually good, only if minus the tokens.
Aside from the other comments that players have already mentioned above, hope they add a RESTART ACCOUNT/GAME function or something like that, accidentally used up all war bonds ingame. :( otherwise, its a very nice game :)
1) Needs a hold position button IMHO. 2) Needs a move-only (no engage enemy) command for units. 3) Need to remove the long animation option of Heroes when they're ordered to move. 4) Better if you restore the hotkeys for assault and fall back commands. 5) Either make the long range units have longer range or fix the units which makes them move forward despite the enemy within their firing range. Overall another solid great game sir!
finished it a long time ago.. and played it again just for fun. i think the game needs a fast forward button to speed things up especially when you're farming for exp.
Yay! Sonny 2 now loading.. Hope this game lives up to the hype. And I already know that it was already up in armor games for months but resist the urge to play it because I was hoping this would come up in Kong.. But Hydraulic class only on Armor Games? Damn.. :D
Yeah by the way, invest your initial skill points on mercenary. I advise on the succeeding maps to invest all additional skill points on mercenary until you max it then add next to engineer. On the succeeding maps, I suggest following my previous strategy also, (4-5 rifleman turrets and 2 lightning towers) and investing on sniper towers after that. 4-5 sniper towers coupled with 2-3 heat ray towers will carry you throughout the stages. :D
On the FIRST MAP, it is easy if you know what towers to build. If you click the units running, you will see the weaknesses of the units. And most probably you are having a hard time with the red soldiers. They are weak against lightning towers. Strategy: To start, build two towers on the lower left and lower right corners of the square near the entrance, another tower at the single line greenfield between the two squares and another tower at the third corner. Upgrade the tower in the single line greenfield and the tower on the upper left corner. Then as soon as u get the money, try building a lightning tower and upgrade it to max and build another lightning tower as soon as you can get. Then the rest is easy. :)
The games' good, a bit original gameplay, but the difficulty needs to be lowered a bit, and I think the main gun needs to be fixed so that it reacts and shoots faster. At hard difficulty, I guess you need a bit of luck in order to survive the initial stages to survive at the latter. Finally, as many have said, the bullets move too slow. But I still enjoyed it. 4/5
The game is not that hard as many of you have thought. I finished all of them in one try without any difficulty. First thing you should do is to place 3 rifleman towers and 1 electro tower. Then start upgrading 1 of the riflemen towers to max then place another electro tower if u can. Upgrade the 5 towers to max OR if u can buy a machinegun turret, do so. Then after buying that, everything is a breeze. Remember that tower placing is also important (especially in maps with split pathways). In split pathway maps, i usually place my starting towers at the end, where the roads converge to kill them using all the towers. Cheers. :)
@ warped04: The goals of the game are not meant to be accomplished at a single race. Your comment doesn't make sense or you didn't really get to understand the game. Anyway, the game is fun and challenging, I see no problems with the controls since I get to feel the car while drifting on the road. Hope this game gets badges. My only problem playing with this game is that my PC suddenly lags while the longer I play with this game. 5/5
This game needs a save game function and I think almost everybody else do have the same sentiments. Or else, playing this game on kongregate would just be a waste of time and its plain useless in the end if that is the case. NOT ALL games do have that same kind of saving system as LUKK3 said.. Not all would play this game continuously and will play it again start from scratch. Its a shame because the game is really good. Game system is familiar to me but nonetheless addictive. But I am forced to give it 4/5 because saving is also an integral and important part of the game, which unfortunately this game lacks.
and btw, i also noticed that there is imbalance in the game, especially when u could finish the game with only focusing on making pure thunder ones.. like making more waves immune to thunder and making some bosses not weak to it.. Great job for the game. :)
Wah fortunacus, i hope you didn't lower the waves per round, because the game became too easy.. :D btw Good game! i hope you could improve on this one.. (more stages, harder and longer waves, and probably putting keyboard shortcuts to the game). I somehow disliked the randomization of items as it frustrates the high score challenges. Overall good game. :) 5/5
