from the short time i played, it seems fun and is rather well executed, but it suffers from a complicated interface, a difficult startup, and not that great of a tutorial, i love the idea, but its unforgiving, hopefuly the upcoming sequel with have some of these issues ironed out.
its good, the strategy involved it exellent, the turrets feel balanced and effective with the three levels of firepower, the levels are a challange with easy for those ones that are a pain, the graphics are good, and i havent encountured any glitches/bugs, however, the uprades leave somwhat to be desired, as nice as the turrets are, just 3 can get boring, a bit of variety would be nice, maybe walls/barriers, something that stuns the creeps, a few menu options do not work as good as they could, (FF mainly) and there is virtualy no story, but none of this is gamebreaking, it is very fun stratigic tower defense that plays great, 4/5, i would give 4.5 if i could.
excuse me if there is one, but there needs to be a sell/destroy button for those bags of gold, its freakng annoying when i place one in the wrong direction, and i have to build a big mess to get around it, if there is one, i could no find it. it might be right under my nose, or there might be some simple thing to do. ether way, this game is decent, it gets a bit boring after a bit, but it is a rather original idea with good gameplay.
lets see, wall of blasters with mortars mixed in? check. over 100 reactors? check. enough storage for 500 energy? check. backup turrets? check. drone bommer armada? check. over 75% of the map under my control? check. ok, lets try survival.
this game.... its rather bad, the idea is good, and it has potental, but the controls are clunky and hard to use, the enemy gets quite over powered fast, and the final boss what pretty much unbeatable. there is no story or detail in the only map. it just gets boring after the first few planets. like i said, it has potental, a good idea behind it, and there is a decent variety of ships. but not much else, looking at the description, and instructions, the difficult tag is appropreate, it is hard, and the AI is bad, but there is hope for the future.
what i find to be a good combo are giants and medics, the giants attack, and with the knockback and range of the hammers, the medics dont tend to get hit, the only time they got killed was in the final boss, with the weak baddies that keep spawning behind the giants, but it is a decent game, i got decimated the first time before i had it figured out, there were a few control issues, but none that turned me away, a sequel would be nice.
This Game.... it has symmetry, i like... must, build base with symmetry. symmetry is good. must build left and right at same time for symmery. must have reactors built with symmetry, running, out of energy. defenses shutting down... being overrun on both sides, but its symmetrical... i like... reactors destroyed, mortars gone, storage eradicated, but i have symmetry... i like symmety, therfore, i like this game
Hmmm, Maybe long term upgrades? And maybe some more variety on troopers/defenses would be nice, like some sheet metal shoved in the ground would be a barrier that most bugs would have to go around, but certan ones can go over/under it? a sequel would be great. but this is an excellent game hands down, 4.5/5
you end by just fliping off the lifeless rocks of the earth, and raging that you didnt bring your cheesey snax. one of the best ending ever. 5/5 though i wonder, with the earth gone, what will you conqure next? the sun? (stupid question, i know)
