For some strange reason while playing this I remembered the Great Fire of London of 1666. Now, I know that might be slightly too early for steam engines which were seen in the game, but by a tiny amount only... Add the "burn" part and the name of the city "Loondon" and the (at least slightly) mysterious cause of the fire... Yes, it does remind me of 1666. I the game might have been made with that in mind. Few games, even among these artistic ones give me such a deep feeling. Favorited.
For one thing, mix this with an unresponsive keyboard for maximum difficulty. For another... I will sue the maker of this game, because his product almost broke my arm. Still, I would give 5/5 if I could still use my right (Wrote this comment at 70%, knowing I couldn't use my arm in the future).
By the way - there's one thing I think would be a nice additiona. Being able to rename items. Because sometimes I get lost why did I keep a certain item, and naming would help a lot.
I'm impressed. The first good idle-game I've ever seen. It resembles a board game of sorts. You don't just get everything done determined by random chance(dice). You have an amount of control here. Also, the interface is great. Very pleasing to the eye and aesthetic. There were a few problems - like the glitchy scroll bar (when I click on it, it sticks to my mouse), hard to figure out some things at first (little explanation of what is what and how it works) and some other little things like that. Thus I gave it 4. Funny things I found while playing: I encountered a Weak YOUNG Red Fox the ANCIENT. Also, apparently, I started out as a 10-year-old battle-master(able to lift and actually use use a sword and all other weapons at that age) who has a full suit of armour that grows with him (since it always fits him)?
Heh. I completed the game because judging or commenting a game without doing that would be wrong. Only after everything is over can you be sure that you saw what the developer wanted you to. Personal opinion doesn't matter, because if I had rated by that I would have likely given it 1. It's not about how I liked it, it's about how well I think the game is made. And this game, ignoring my likes/dislikes, is somewhat weak. Maybe if it was made for one of those "24 hour contests"... But right now it was more like a tutorial. Without any deep realisation or anything. You just splash out right straight at us "Tolerate any kind of love, because then it will be better for everyone". The idea will stick only if you ponder it and lead the player to realise it himself instead of giving him text that explains everything straightforwardly. The only reason I gave it 3 was some moderately decent puzzling+a thought you believe in. The achievement means nothing besides the fact that I completed it.
Takes time to get used to the controls. I myself brutally murdered my pantient only 2 times!(well, 3 if you count the successful transplantation, because that's a murder too). Anyway, it's hilarious while at the same time you feel bad for laughing at it.
Oh no! So they were demons. I mean they drop their disguise at the end when no one is watching - just look how red their skins becomes. Thats pure evil demon-red i tell you!
Jokes aside, thegame is really simple but quite fun either way. worth 4/5 probably, because for what it was it was made well, but it was too simple to get 5/5.
Theres a bug. If im a chaos fire mage, i cannot get rank 1, because rank 1 mage is the clan leader, and when i become a clan leader i am still rank 2. Its hard to explain.
first i got captain of the guard, then briliant tutor of combat.
A quite nice game, but its really anoying when one fight is 10 minutes, since both me and my enemy kept missing.
