It looks like mana is maxed at 50 during gameplay so increasing the mana stat above 50 makes no sense since it gets reset to 50 during gameplay

Hi, yes 50 is MAX for each mana for you and also for your enemy..

just roll-over the little blue circle next to the spell and you will see the spell description + mana needed

The best strategy is usually to upgrade your jelly to level 4 or 5 and then go after other jellies. Sometimes it is necessary to take or make a lab or defense jelly

Upgrade your towers then restart the map to get your research back so that you can use it on the temp upgrades.
particle beam + flamethrower = win. Build extra research buildings to get more research for future levels

Can you freeze the phase and button box to the top so that when I'm scrolling through the game history, I can still play the game?
So this seems like something obvious that I should've done, and the reason I didn't yet is a technical reason. It'll take redesigning the HTML for that left column, which I estimate will take some time, so it's not a simple fix. Since you're a dev, maybe you're interested in why. The positioning of the game page is kind of tricky with CSS, and uses a lot of absolute positioning. So the height of the game history is not fixed. And so it isn't simple to add the scroll bar to just the history, because the browser thinks it has a height equal to its full (including off screen) height. So when I tried (naively) adding a scroll bar, it didn't appear, because it thought it had a full height.
