Developer response from terra0nova It's annoying, and I'm making it clearer this is a bad idea in the next version, but it's not game ending. You can still get the workshop (a quest from the miner), and it can craft a workbench. You basically lose out on the ability to make iron tools before steel ones. edit \| delete
