Tips to anyone playing training crit:
1. Look at Sir Scarecrow's feet. Strike only when he jumps
2. Listen for the 'ding' - if it's high-pitched it's a signal for you to strike. If it's low pitched then don't click your mouse.
I made it to x200+ with tip 2 and 444 with tip 1. What's better I closed my eyes when I used tip 2 hahaha :D
This game is amazing! The learning-curve isn't too steep and the levels in general are really well balanced. In addition the game has a wide spectrum of enemies which really adds some variety and make the game less monotonous.
Honestly, this game totally exceeded my expectations. The limited number of rooms in the castle that you could build stuff in made this game even more fun and mentally challenging - as I discovered later in the game that more cash dosen't equal to a win, but prioritising and strategising does. Moreover, I really like the way how certain types of enemies had certain weaknesses and strengths - it really made strategising a vital part of the game.
The timing between rounds and the grace period before the first round began also provides stress into the game, which is another huge plus as it certainly did encourage me to think quickly.
Definitely would recommend anyone who's reading this to try this game out. 10/10 would play again.
Oh I'm really glad you noticed that and had some nostalgia about our other games :)
