@ Detourw11: You find a single 'Diamond Golem' during each run through 'Dungeon 2 Expert'. Best way to farm different states on Light Essence so far imho...
Sure, but you can't give a Goliath Blade to the Mage ;) She's my weakest party-character and i hoped for a little push. But don't get me wrong, i never expected the 'Light Blade' to be the ultimate weapon for my overall game progress. It's much more about collecting all the recipes around and crafting all the weapons in the game...and that one is still missing in my collection. :) But thx a lot for all your infos and warnings.
@ JosiahFyle: Thx for letting me know and telling us about the ingredients. Got enough in store now to craft 1 or 2 of them if i should stumble accross the recipe someday. ;) I tried the tower 3 more times, but still no 'Light Blade' and no artifacts i'm afraid...but i'll keep on trying.
Does the 'Light Blade' do anything special? Or is it just a 1H sword with more damage than usual?
@ Barefoot Indie: The skill 'Slice' requires a 'Scythe'. They can be looted after fighting 'Reaper', 'Dark Lich' or 'Fallen Angel' enemies, if you're lucky.
The different Goliath Blades count technically as Claymore/Great Sword and use the 'Blind Flurry' Skill.
By the way, did anyone here find the 'Light Blade Recipe' from defeating 'Dark Angels'??? It's listed as possible loot in the Enemy Book' - but after defeating more than 100+ 'Dark Angels' I couldn't find it so far...
Any hints on that? Or has it not been implemented into the game yet???
@ Barefoot Indie: Spell mechanics seem to be quite complex in this game. The simple RPG formula 'use fire vs. water/ice' doesn't work out here too well. My recomendation would be, better choose your spells rather by their intended/helpful side-effects and not puerly by their dmg impact. stone and ice spells are good to stun a few enemies for several turns, especially on larger enemy groups. It's a paradox, but it might be a good idea to 'fight ice with ice' or 'earth with stone' - though some enemies seems to have immunities. Give it a try and find out... :)
Regarding the 'missed hits': Enemies with high AGI produce a lot of misses or even counters while fighting them. So i think your own AGI might help and i guess Luck has influence on hitting too...
@ Kasekine: The only enemy so far dropping 'weak light essence' is the 'diamond golem' on D2E (dungeon 2 expert mode)...if i didn't miss something too... ;)
@ sirwoofy: switch your farming to emeralds and diamonds... i send you some PNs on that topic... :D And yes, i crafted a 4 slot Xbow by now. ;)
@HolyAurica: I guess 'Luck' influences the chances to miss or reflect hits, and to be missed or reflected by enemies. So to say a natural Evasion of your party members...additionally to AGI ;) Maybe it even
has influence on drop rates, but i'm still not sure...
@ sirwoofy: The best way to collect reptile hide imho is Forest 1 Expert. A small area Lvl with 2x 3 Lizards. Meaning 6x random chance to gather reptile hide... But for massive weapaon crafting or crafting a complete 'magic scaled armor' set better be prepared to do it again and again literally half a day ;) At least if you're able to stand your ground against the hordes of 'dire nightwing bats' and the 'corrupted fairy' and her friends... But with a little patience and skill you can outrun the fairy...but it's nearly impossible to avoid the bats...
YEAH! Finally made it through Infinity Floor 30. A long and costly way. The immunities and group dmg spells of the boss are a plague :D Two complete turns to heal the party. So many innocent spiders had to die to make this amount of healing possible ;) But the drop rates on higher infinity are really poor, plz tune it up. No blades, no artifacts - but the rewards help to carry on. Better drop rates of gem hide, reptile hide, emeralds and diamonds would be highly appreciated to keep the equips up to the task... Thx for all your work and support on the game! But grinding/farming becomes a little tiresome atm... Maybe you could better the chances.
