@Stupiz: This game was released BEFORE Realm of the Mad God. RotMG came out AFTER this game. Both games use the Oryx Lofi/Losci-fi (maybe Lohorror too) sprite sets. RotMG uses the sprites from Oryx under licenses. And the antagonist of RotMG is called Oryx in honor of the same guy who made those sprites. (He has the same name too.)
The game should have a minimap which allows you to see if you've cleared every last nook and cranny of the dungeon. Overall, good game, has great potential.
There are many things that need to be added, so that the game will be good. The world needs to bigger. Peaceful mode should have some passive mobs. The game has good potential though.
@scarybrian: This came out before RotMG. Both games uses sprites similar to each other. @killerspen: Agreed. Actually, this game needs more of everything, new abilities and traits, more dungeons, the ability to make your own character and abilities. (once the game is beaten) And more ways to get unlocks. I don't want to beat the game five times for five unlocks.
@starsm: Notoriety is howfamous (or infamous) you are to a certain type of my monster. Depending on what monster you kill, this will affect the notoriety bar in your factions window. (Press c, then click the Faction bar.) The higher it is, the more stuff you can get form faction shops. Not all monsters will give notoriety. Faction Boosts will increase the notoriety gain from each killed monster.
There are quite a few characters that are broken. Great Spirit has rather spammable attacks, Necromancer can heal him/her self, summon minions, and can use Shock, which does lots of damage and is spammy. When Nicol Bolas is uses Explosion correctly, he can eviscerate most characters. Bahamut can OHKO most enemies with 25 HP or less with Fire Breath.
Pressing while playing the game makes some kind of code text appear. Also, the difficulty needs to be ramped up, we need more maps that are larger, and make some extra rewards for say, every 3 game completions, we can unlock three different characters. Or, we could character customization could be unlocked after beating the game.
@DiscoKingZ: Yea, played this game like crazy when I was kid, but I could not really beat, but now, even though I'm older, I still play this game, I can beat it on the hardest difficulty.
In terms of logic, this game, sometimes does not make sense. In WW3 Mutants, they are attacking a human camp in the third level, that camp, is very well protected, but only from one side. How is it truly well protected if you do it from one side? Then, in the third level of WW3 Humans, the humans are attacked by mutants with an APC they captured. Why are the aliens using the inferior APC if they say the humans have crummy technology? But still, good game. After this game, things went downhill.
I found this weird glitchin which everything is crushed somehow. Step 1: Spam lots of ragdolls. Step 2: spam explosives and implosives. Step 3: Spam rockets. Make sure all the explosives are in the exact same spot. Step 5: Unpause. Step 6: Enjoy and spawn ragdolls.
Maybe for the next Endless War game, there should be a much more sophisticated AI for harder difficulties.
The all weapons cheat should be awarded after the person has beaten the game on any difficulty.
This one got me a "YOU ROCK DUDE!" and 7123 points.
