HINT. If you need to level up a bit before tackling the Robot Protector boss, just warp out and back in and repeatedly kill the sandworm. Its a pretty easy fight and it gives a lot of AP and EXP. Just kill the 2 clay guys with some decent holy magic in the first round. Put REGEN on your party, then blast it away with ice swords/magic and use Lance's DEF Reducer.
Was stuck on level 19 until I had some steak, at which point I was able to finish the game. Very good, but may be difficult for vegetarians. The game wasn't bad, either.
Make the transporter colors a little more obvious about which matches which. That saves having to test just to see which transporter goes where, which isn't really part of the challenge. Otherwise pretty neat.
