Reset at novemdecillion souls also gave me 0.00 souls, but when I came back a few hours later it was working again. Maybe it displays 0.00 until you reach a certain fraction of your total?

@j33us: for 35 clicks/sec without cheating: energize + clickstorm (20/sec) and then click like crazy for the remaining 15. Not easy, but not impossible.
