Really quite excellent. I really enjoyed the little leaps of faith and intuitive steps you have to take as the game subtly gives you just enough to go on.
A playable and well-executed game. You lose a star for the big, distracting advert in the corner and another for the overblown croaky voiceover though. (Sorry kids, I'm feeling vindictive today.)
What a charming, novel game, Ben. Real fairytale wish-fulfillment stuff. I really like the concept. The choice of controls was appreciated, and multiple endings is aways a good thing. I enjoyed Tom's music and backgrounds too. Constructive criticisms: That font is hard to read; every screen should include a challenge, or the click through story ones feel somewhat superfluous; I felt you rushed into the story, splitting the second screen into two screens and introducing the situation more slowly would pace it better; centering the story box would prevent the annoying black gap underneath it; the screens were cluttered by those symbols. However, these are all subjective pet peeves, and the game is genuinely enjoyable.
I'm glad you picked up on all the clues in the background guiding you. Thanks for playing.
