How does I game that has appeared on the front page twice already still have so many flaws? It's extremely unbalanced, has a few save bugs and is basically the same game we've all seen and played before.
Agree with the majority of comments here. The game is really nicely designed, has a good concept and sounds great too. It just isn't very exciting and isn't something I'd play more than once.
I like the game but it could do with a little consistency. Sometimes the difficulty level is reasonable. Other times the game shafts you royally!
Also in a game where you die often, please have a key assigned to play again so I'm not having to switch back to the mouse just to click "Play Again".
Good game. My comments:
- Wish I didn't have to wait for the score tables to load at the end of the game. I don't care about them but still have to wait 5 seconds for them to load.
- The spawning did royally screw me occasionally
I do quite like this game but I still don't find the balance quite right. After all - I probably shouldn't have the time to make a comment mid game!
I think the biggest thing I'd like to see is a "Send Now" button for the next wave. There's also a few bugs still. For example, after I finished a normal level game, I hit play again and went for easy this time. But it wouldn't let me place the original city. I was red whether I tried to place it!
Good game but I'd also like to see some save games. I'd also recommend allowing the user to double click on a command to have it placed in the next free space of the main method. Saves a lot of dragging and dropping.
Interesting, I wasn't zoomed in (right clicking on the game showed just a "Zoom In" option enabled. But I did have to press "Show All" before it corrected the amount of zoom.
Looks like I can really enjoy this game but for me there's one big flaw. Some of the UI is missing for me. It's like I've zoomed in so some of the right/bottom of the screen is out of sight. Anyone else having this problem?
Good game but it has it's flaws. If you aren't fast enough to stop a couple of shurikens you can quickly become stuck with no way out. The text could also be a lot clearer. I really have to wait till the people land before I can read it clearly. You also have troubles it two ninjas stop too close to each other - the one you are in the middle of typing can go behind another ninja's word making it hard to see what to type.
To the people below whining about badges - Kongregate doesn't give games badges. The developers themselves have to program the game to the Kongregate API.
Anyway, I liked the game. Was a nice twist on an old classic.
Graphics were great but it does get tedious quite fast. It needs more in it. Puzzle Quest had a lot of other items to keep you interested so that the constant gem battles didn't get boring - items, spells to learn etc. Something like this would improve the game a lot.
