jqzl, yes, you only get them from chests dropped. Although there are a couple of quests that have a stone or crystals as a reward.

Insane is only rated for up to level 30. there needs to be a setting called "apocalypse" That is rated for up to 50.

THAT WAS AWESOME!! i just played the 4 leaf clover one with 14 mortar monkeys, with 4 of them fully upgraded!! the rest were one level away from it (all red)!!!!!!!
