Yeah I guess controlling grabs with the mouse didn't work very well. About the stickiness to the snow was a quick fix for another problem when the hill is really steep. I will change the gravity to feel more natural when that is solved.
You're right, it is annoying when you crash because releasing a grab too late. The better you get at the trick AIR (no grab) the release animation plays faster as with all the tricks. I wanted the skills to really have an impact in the world. The challenge is to balance it all. Perhaps you should start out with full progress in the AIR skill. I'll experiment with that.
I had flips the way you described, but I didn't like it that way, it was too hard to control, but I'm working on another solution.

Hehe, the rock is a debug tool. It does a rough estimation of where he will land. Was a long last night for me. I've noticed it can be hard to get the trick you want. It's a little easiter if you prepare the mouse before you're in the air. I will definately work more on the trick control then!
