5/5 and $5 from me :) It's rare to see a well developed plot like this in flash games. More developers need to spend time on that, imo. Keep it coming!

Rogue with all your points into speed is at first bit harder and slower at killing, but later on it's trololol with permanent berserk (25,000 speed at final boss) and rarely getting hit (with enough rage leftover for tons of leech/stun). Love this game. Played all three classes xD.

I love the songs as well as the smooth animation, but the need for concentration in this game throws me off (maybe I'm just too much of a bird lover) D: I'd prefer to listen to the music in peace. Still, it's a very well-made flash "game".

I'm a sucker for the graphics, but like everyone else said, it's a tad easy. 4/5.

I found this game quite difficult at first, but it became infinitely easier when I played on speed 2 instead of speed 3. Like most people said, the mechanics are quite simple. Just attack when someone else attacks and follow them xD

Well I got to the end. And all I have to say is F$@&........! -_- I could've whipped that Dracelon thing. Easy. There was plenty of time. D: Deugan was my favorite character too.

I can imagine how much potential this game has, but I'm never willing to get past that first sun temple place... It's a sequel (I haven't played Mardek 2 which might change things) so that's probably why, but you should think about incorporating a more engaging introduction. I've opened up and closed this game about five minutes into playing, three times already. There's too much walking and not enough player motivation (at least for me) which can be improved upon. For example, you could show us what happened to the temple so there's more motivation to explore through it. Or... just make the place have less walking xD It's not bad -- I loved the graphics for the battle sequences (for flash, it's impressive) and how the system was similar to FFX's, which was a favorite of mine :P I'll hold off my rating until I play this game further, but it will likely be a 5/5 in comparison to other games on this site ^^
I found it amusing how the best strategy on a few levels was to bluntly run through the fire... :P At first, I thought health bonuses were useless, haha!

Hmm... I definitely gotta agree with Shindragan, it needed more closure. "Hauntingly beautiful" is just how I would describe it, though :) 5/5

I'm quite confident the comment turnout would have been much different if the game showed random commenters instead of a player's own username xD A lot of these commenters seem offended... Anyways, it was an interesting game. I didn't find it too fun myself, but I'm glad a game like this was made; it won't stop rogue comments, but at least reduce it.

I still think this new wave of "games" would be much better as movies... I'd like to see a flash movie section on Kongregate one day xD I thought it was rather interesting... very well-made, though.

Personally I would have enjoyed this much, much more if the creator took some time to develop a backstory, some dialogue and a plot to go with it. It's much more a movie than a game -- it has a wonderful message that could mean much more if it were a movie.

It's a VERY well made game graphically, but I would say the gameplay is lacking. I researched everything by level 3 (normal mode) by waiting out and farming xD After that there was no appeal to continue, it was too repetitive...

These types of games aren't my thing either, but this was entertaining to say the least. However, I found the difficulty of this game too easy apart from some things that were difficult to notice or would have likely not guessed. Like the attic (or maybe I'm just sleepy), the hook and rod (as well as the hook itself -- the master bedroom's "leave room" click area was so huge I ended up leaving accidentally multiple times), the clamp (there should at least be a valve or something to release the propane), the drill has a cord (make it a two-part click where you plug in the cord and then use it -- the plug in the basement escaped me) and a couple other minor things.

No problems with it so far... curious why this game is so rated low. From skimming the comments, there seems to be two things: 1) the internet is full of narrow-minded rpg-hating douchebags, 2) there is an action-phase skipping glitch that I have yet to encounter. First of all, if you don't like turn-based games, don't play them. Or rate them. If the gameplay isn't a bonus for people, the graphics should be... it's quite impressive for a flash game. 5/5 from me, it's quite a high caliber game for flash (length, graphics, sound, etc).
