This is a great beginning of a game, although on the other hand it is more finished than many. It has a lot of work to do, but that is just because it has so much potential IMO. I do hope the developer keeps working on it, but if they decide to move on to the next project I'll understand and be interested in what they do next.
This is a great game, but the fact that many research upgrades weaken you annoys me. The random upgrade Offensive Chance chooses between more and more /inf upgrades as you research more, but the only two that really help are damage and critical multiplier (and maybe execution multiplier, but I am not sure). All the rest just weaken you for being able to upgrade them. Not sure how to fix it though.
New update is good, but I cannot find anything about what the upgrades do when I am choosing them in the Laboratory. Please add a comment about what Damage I, Health I, Fire, etc. do in the Laboratory screen.
Great game. Good idea, good upgrades. But there are a few things I would change; 1) Make upgrades cheaper, and vary the price of upgrades, 2) Either allow the player to buy additional ships to help them or make enemy ships hit each other with there attacks. I like the idea of having ones own armada, but just being able to outmanuver enemy ships in such a way that they destroy each other without having to fire ones would be awesome.
Two things: 1: it has been noted already but needs hot keys and the ability to build multiple buildings at once. 2: Needs a MUCH shorter defeat screen, or at least a way to skip it.
Epic units and Hero need better upgrades. Can't use hero without a near 100% chance of losing purely due to Fake Difficulty (see TV Tropes if you care). Also a 10x speed would be nice. Otherwise awesome game, keep up the good work.
Trick seems to be keep your weapon at a low level so it takes more hits to kill things. Then rack up a combo to get hundreds of XP from a single enemy.
