The game is pretty nice and I enjoy it. I suggest:
- More races and alignments or ideologies.
- Larger and more diversified technology tree.
- More systems & planets types & sizes.
- Expand the fight of the ancients historyline.
- Expand the alliances advantages, diplomacies.
All of this are for me features to make this a more enjoyable game.
