I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem, but.. At least for me, I've had quite literally a good 20+ deaths because of the controls. The latest was trying to jump, then double jump over an incoming fireball, but the game just deciding to glide into it and kill me. I've also fell through the floor during the Endless run for killing enemies. I LOVED the first game. Very solid controls, perfect, and the only deaths I ever got were quite clearly my fault, not the game's. But I've had very, VERY cheap deaths because of the controls just deciding to act on their own. I try to stomp? End up gliding instead, THEN stomping, except of course at the wrong time, so I fall down a pit and die. I very much enjoy the game, don't get me wrong. But these flaws are a gigantic turn off.
Thanks for the detailed review. If I understand correctly, your main concern is about auto-parachute? I'll try to see if can add an option to configure that.
I know, I simply meant that after you beat the game and unlock characters in the class screen, you should be able to see them as other characters once you start up another. At the least so you can see the requirements for said advanced classes.
I thought it was perhaps a glitch, but I don't believe it is? I think once you go through a character and unlock the character classes, you should be able to keep said advanced classes as you go onto other characters. Or at the very least, once you max those character classes out. I went through as a rogue and maxed out both Assassin and Ranger/Archer, along with Rogue, but after I decided to try another class, at least just to unlock more, I didn't find them. Perhaps that should be a feature in future updates?
Many advanced classes have power based on the base classes, like ranger who modify the warrior's charge, so going direclty into an advanced class is not really possible. Each classes have 2 speciality (rogue's are assassin and archer) so you must raise another base classe
