"Good idea, but I have a better one perhaps: two game modes, Challenge and Practice. In Challenge you start from 100 and your score gets recorded. In Practice you start however fast you like but your score is not recorded. How does that sound?" - TenebrousP, that sounds like a better and more thought-out version of the idea I suggested. I say do it.
I think the setting start point wrecks the highscore system. Here's my idea for a fix, while retaining the feature: Remove everyone from the leaderboard and start again. Then, implement a feature whereby your score is only recorded if you start from speed 100. This way people can still play casually (wrong word, I feel) at the higher speeds, but still have to buld up their speed from scratch to get a high score. Alright?

I was kinda worried when I saw Gregmaniacs top this on the monthly games list. Thankfully its rating has dropped, but I would have been saddened to see this interesting game lose to just some Cyclomaniacs content (not that it isn't a nice game, but it's just one level in 8 skins, rather than a breath of fresh air like this)
Wow, I really appreciate your support! I hadn't noticed that Gregmaniacs had gone up, I'm trying really hard not to stare at the monthly/weekly chart lol
I rather overzealously jumped the guy in the boat on the first level AS SOON AS he turned up, which left him flailing off-screen with only his legs showing, meaning I consumed zero blood. Please fix?
I tried counting the number of "facts" that were untrue... I gave up after a while. For example, The Speaker IS allowed to speak. He says "Order! Order!" a fair bit...
@XVampII If you did your research, you'd see that the swastika in fact originated as a peace symbol is Jainism. The Nazi party adopted it as a symbol of "The Power of the Aryan Race" and ironically went on to lead a war with this peace symbol.
I went for two clerics and two rogues. One cleric focusing on healing spells and Intellect. The other focusing on the Resurrect spell and Strength. Basically clerics are good for healing but you're kinda screwed if they die and no one's there to bring them back. With the rogues it's good to have two. One to use Flash Powder to stun an enemy like a Troll. The other uses Coup de Grace to kill it. Plus their poisonous attacks and speed come in handy
The -t suffix can be used for any -ed word. It's just that it's more commonly used for burned/burnt, spelled/spelt and dreamed/dreamt.
You could actually perfectly well say you "dropt" something. At the risk of sounding Shakespearian.
\o/ - can I blame you if everyone hates it? :P
