Finished Vanilla H’s route. It was pretty cute and was almost as great as Ranpha’s route too.
However, in the Galaxy Angel universe, I see her like Tact’s adorable little sister. Lol.
(Even though it was cute when Tact proposed to Vanilla during the ball at the Sky Palace. XD)

Well, that finishes my run of Galaxy Angel for now. After I finish replaying Ranpha’s route, I’ll most likely be playing Hoshizora no Memoria: Wish Upon a Shooting Star next. =^-^=

Hoshizora No Memoria: Wish Upon A Shooting Star
Following the sudden death of their mother, Kogasaka You and his sister, Chinami, return to their hometown for the first time in seven years. Hoping to fulfill a promise with the girl from his childhood, he ventures to the lookout where they had once gazed at the starry sky together. However, what awaits him there is a grim reaper—
’I’ve been waiting, You-kun. Thank you for keeping your promise.’

Mare S. Ephemeral
A grim reaper that waited for You at the lookout. She doesn’t talk much and acts cool, but is actually a crybaby. Mare carries a scythe, but it is used to reap nightmares, not lives. She mainly shows up at the lookout and gazes at the stars.

Asuho Minahoshi
You’s classmate and the class rep. She’s also the vice president of the stargazing circle, Tenkuru. She helps out at her father’s cafe, Milky Way. Loves the stars a lot and names everything on the menu in the cafe after star-based myths even if there is no resemblance whatsoever. Asuho is really friendly and a good mood-maker. However, when it comes to love and relationships, she is very shy and reserved, almost to the point where she doesn’t have much confidence.

Komomo Hisakaki
With blonde hair and twintails, Komomo is the tsundere of the game. She is the older Hisakaki twin. Komomo’s on the student council and is a serious-minded and honest person, although she comes off as tough and stubborn to others. She tends to try to do everything by herself. Hates the stars and doesn’t like to be called by her name.

Kosame Hisakaki
Kosame is the younger twin sister of Komomo and often engages in yuri acts with her in public. She’s much more mild mannered than Komomo. Always says the right thing at the right time. She likes teasing her friends (Asuho) at times. Doesn’t like talking about herself.

Isuzu Aoi
Isuzu is one year younger than You and lives next door to him and Chinami. She looks like a cute underclassman and is treated like a small animal, but she has a sharp tongue and can be very rude. As a result, she doesn’t make friends easily. She has a younger sister, Suzuha.

Chinami Kogasaki
You’s younger sister. Fails at pretty much everything and extremely clingy and annoying. A master chef: anything she cooks turns black. A true troublemaker. However, she does have an uncanny ability to make friends. Her serious and depressed side is a polar opposite.

Mystery Girl?
Who’s the mystery girl? That’s a secret, of course. ;)

Anyway, I just cleared the game yesterday. The story was amazing. Though, there were times I had to grab a few tissues sometimes to wipe away those teary eyes of mine. >.> Of course, in order to get the TRUE route, you have to beat Asuho, Komomo, Kosame, Isuzu and Chinami’s routes first. But their routes are good too. The TRUE ROUTE is amazing… I’ll just be keeping that a secret for now, however. :P

During the game, you get various stories regarding the constellations of the starry night sky. The one that’s special between You and the girl from the lookout in particular is the story of Tanabata, which is also celebrated on July 7th, and the main focus of the story…

The Legend of Tanabata – Festival of the Star Crossed Lovers
Orihime (Weaving Princess), the daughter of Emperor Tentei, was a skilled weaver and made lovely clothes for her father. One day as she sat alongside the the river of Heaven (Amanogawa – the Milky Way) she was overcome with sadness as she had been so busy with her weaving that she hadn’t had time to fall in love. Tentei, believed to be the ruler of the Heavens, witness her woeful state and arranged a marriage for her with Hikoboshi (Also known as Kengyuu, the Cow Herder Star) who lived across the river. The couple was very much in love and were very happy but Orihime was neglecting her weaving. This angered Tentei so much that he decided to separate the couple, putting them back on opposite sides of the river. Orihime became despondent at the loss of her husband and asked her father to let them meet again. Tentei was moved by his daughter’s tears and allowed the two to meet on the 7th day of the 7th month if she worked hard and finished her weaving. The first time they tried to meet, however, they found that they could not cross the river because there was no bridge. Orihime cried so much that a flock of magpies came and promised to make a bridge with their wings so that she could cross the river. It is said that if it rains on Tanabata, the magpies cannot come and the two lovers must wait until another year to meet.

There are, of course, some other varieties of this story. It’s also believed that Orihime and Hikoboshi had two children together. Which, I think would be cute if it were true.
