A good game but there are 2 glaring errors that need fixing:
1) Immune mobs.
2) The ability to replay levels to farm gold.
At the moment, farming gold needs to be carefully masterminded to make sure the level you lose on is one that's over quickly. I'm currently stuck on two levels with no way to progress or go back except resetting (which takes 3 hours). The first level is over quickly but the second level has an immune mob that deals almost no damage. I can't kill him but it takes him 15 minutes to kill my party. Can't upgrade damage (though my damage dealer is the highest levelled) because I can't farm gold... Needs a way round this otherwise there's no point in idling.
I figured out what happened to me last night so would just like to give a warning -> Be careful when building the medicine factory. It does two things: Gives you a population boon AND reduces the % of your population able to work. Given that it's already incredibly difficult to provide enough food for your workers, if you're not prepared it can destroy your economy. After testing, it seems that you should build surplus buildings, use the medicine factory to boost your population to a desired level and then turn it off again.
There needs to be a way to stop your villagers buying certain resources. I opened a medicine factory to see what it did and it destroyed my economy. I now can't produce tools because everyone demands medicine and takes tools instead. These ran out so they turned to my food supply. I went from 14000 villagers with +food and tools to 3000 villagers who can barely farm enough to survive.
Can't be. Make sure you keep producing food. If you but medicine etc late in the game, people always demand it, but it doesn't mean you have to give them it. The point is it has maximum demand, you ive less it is fine. You just get a bit less money and lose on some overall bonuses. (Later it is good to give it all, as tools, cars, medicine all give bonuses)
I see a lot of people saying this game is hard -> Simply focus on one strategy. The legend of the miners faith route is perfect for all to start with, then either rush hydras/minotaurs in bulk or the angel/knight route in bulk. I haven't been able to win with druids, but hydras/minotaurs are easy mode. I just wish there was a sandbox mode... Such an excellent game.
Well, I've been following this game for a while. I've recently seen the update to colony points and I have to say... Fantastic job! You've now given a reason to idle and build larger colonies! I have to say I haven't seen one other game use your solution so fantastic. :D Thanks for being an interactive developer and making such a good game.
This is an amazing game and I'm looking forward to seeing how you implement religion. (Haven't been able to buy it yet, so don't know if it works) However, there does seem to be an extreme curve when it comes to Colony Points. If I colonize at 75 pop, I can easily get 1 a minute . However, 2 points requires 5+ minutes and hours for 4 points. With the increase in needed colony points per upgrade, I just find myself spamming 1 until I have enough. I can't see a reason to make a large village and that's a shame because it detracts from the idle part (the reason I play these games). I don't know how hard coding is, but you could tier the colony points to specific upgrades. I've also seen games get round this problem by having permanent unlocks -> For instance, each colony point gives starting houses where this pop doesn't count towards the next colony point but DOES increase the food required per villager. (So larger = more appealing. I’ve yet to see currency…) Otherwise, amazing game!
Thanks a lot for the kind feedback! Yeah, I thought of that issue as well, but it will be easier soon to acquire colony points when you grow and, also, there'll be new benefits for population that'll encourage you to grow more.
Would anyone be able to help me with the logic/coding in this game? If I have something pulls 1m heat out of the reactor, something that transfers 1m heat and something that vents 1m heat; then why does this system blow-up if your reactor has a lot of heat in it? At most it can draw 1m heat out of the reactor and this can be vented...
This is a very good idle game, but there is just one thing that irks me: You can’t idle… You can’t leave the game running because of the storage limit and you can’t leave it with an auto-clicker on the storage limit because of the need to upgrade how many elements you can use. It’s a fantastic game, but not quite so idle… Would it be possible to get an auto-buy feature?
This is an amazing game! However, if I'm reading this correctly, the only way to get heat out of the reactor is via the heat exchangers. So... No matter how much heat you can store/vent, this limits what type of configurations you can have and there's no way to improve it?
You desperately need a confirmation for reset game... I was trying to combat heat and also gain profit, so quickly tried to select a capacitor and reset my game. Very annoying...
Has the "run whilst offline" thing been removed? It's a shame if it has -> It let me continue playing the game without having my computer on, saving electricity and preventing my room from becoming a sauna in summer. Is it possible to get a toggle for it?
Just to satisfy the OCD in me, would it be possible to have an option to rearrange the screens? So for example, I could have all of my lawnmowing in one place? It just makes it easier to view relative upgrades.
Would it be possible to add a teleport/return to start function? I've tried playing the game three times now and, each time, I get stuck in between a bench and a player. I can't move, can't escape, can't do anything and so have to restart and do a new game.
We're going to punish low sensitivity with these long winding corridors... *turns up mouse sensitivity* And we're also going to punish high sensitivity with these 9 red circles that require pinpoint accuracy to get through... *turns it halfway and can't do either* O_O
