While the game starts off interesting (and a small step above the old ones for removing energy system), it quickly loses its appeal. It's almost just a remake of the classic doodle god with minor additions. Hints no longer refill automatically, but must be purchased with a VERY limited currency (that refills every day, if you feel like waiting that long. Otherwise have fun spending money on it) and we are constantly flooded with ads, whether they be for in-game purchases or other games.
Not a bad game, per se, just... not a huge step up. I'd rather play the classic and deal with the limited energy than keep fighting against this version.
I have to agree with several of the other comments, the numbers feel too random. Like you just threw darts at a board and went with that. The unlocks aren't evenly spaced between all buildings (some unlock at 20, some unlock at 30 or 40), the building progression makes no sense (payday clones is about half the speed of the two buildings after it, and makes 5x the money), and overall it's just not a very enjoyable experience compared to the original.
Made a mistake and tried to import my online saved data, and it loaded my data from when online saves were first implemented. Just lost a week and a half of hard progress... Well, this game was fun while it lasted, but this is ridiculous.
Sorry you lost your save. Tell me how long you've played and what units you remember having, and if your progress sounds realistic I can send you a saved game around the point you left off.
This game is pretty good, though I do agree with everyone else that the knight is severely lacking in abilities.
And to everyone complaining about how matches of 6+ don't do anything extra, why should they? The game specifically tells you "Matches of four do this, matches of five do this." I haven't read one single line in game that tells you a match of six or more has an extra effect. So don't rate the game down because you wasted your time setting up something that was never included in the instructions.
My mind has just been blown. At first, I thought the game just had bad graphics, but later on... Wow. Phenomenal. You, sir, deserve a full five stars out of five.
This is, simply put, the most insightful game I have ever seen. It explains human nature so well. When you are too far from the "others", you can't even see yourself. It's like you don't exist until there's someone there with you. But then, as you grow closer to another, it becomes harder to see yourself again. Furthermore, while the song of one of the others sounds beautiful, as you gather more and more around you it becomes a nearly deafening, cacophonous mass. And, as has already been pointed out, you can't remain near one specific square too long. It flees from you, does its best to distance you -- possibly fearing the very same that you are, the fear of getting hurt. There's so much more I could explain, bu these were the most prominent points I noticed. Simply fantastic. 5/5 and favorited, and i've shared it with several friends. Simply put, I love Love.
Woah, they programmed the robots to be telekinetic and free-thinking? And all it required was a small bump on the noggin? Brilliant! Good game, overall. A little short and a little easy [to me], though.
Awarding extra money for health left over is just silly. I have a fully maxed out team of people after clearing the third level [to unlock cluster bomb]. And i'm making so much money on any one level that I can afford to buy max of any weapon that unlocks. Other than that, great game.
This was actually drawn on a graph pad, from what I can tell... The faint outlines in the background give it away.
Still, a solid game with fantastic replayability.
I appreciate the many changes from this game's time on Newgrounds, but I do still see a couple problems.
A. In my opinion, the paladin's jump height is a bit too high. It says he's the slowest character in the game, but he moves about the same speed as the main character. And jumps as high, from what I saw.
B. The barbarian's "omnistrike" ability is capable of teleporting you into the mist and killing you.
Other than that, this game is [still] great.
@Kilroy8675309: I assume you're complaining that people need to learn to speak english to live in America... Well, if you think they should learn the language of the land, learn cherokee or navajo you arrogant prick.
In other news, great game. Yes, it may be similar to Phage Wars, but it's still fun to play. Simple graphics, simple gameplay that still requires strategy... Simply wonderful. Keep up the good work!
This game is incredible... a bit of tweaking, and this is something I would easily go out and buy on the DS or even PSP. Maybe a background story, slow the pace down slightly... But overall, a great flash game. 5/5!
Prestige-upgrades only cost experience, but prestige-upgrades bought are lost when you soft-reset. Be careful! ;)
