If anyone is still struggling with the Hard badge, I highly recommend this walkthrough:

You have to follow it to the letter until the mid-40's (which will require lots of saving and restarting), and then you can either continue to follow the walkthrough (I don't recommend that), or wait until he goes to sell the first Ice Tower. Instead of selling it so you can upgrade the Boomerang, instead wait a bit into the round to upgrade the boomerang. The money you save allows you to get out an upgraded banana factory even quicker. By the mid-60's I was spitting out a new Research Facility every round and have more defense than I knew what to do with.
Great game, very well designed and challenging at just the right level. But that app store ad and the occasional pop-ups are a serious flaw. We come to Kong for passive gaming, not for the same trash we get via mobile. 2/5, which is a serious shame.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the complaints about the boss explosions in survival mode, did you want this to be an easy badge? Advice: use the laser gun. Since you're on a fixed point on the screen horizontally, the laser gun will allow you to pin-point exactly where your character is even in perpetual boss explosion mode. Better advice: use the pulse gun and maximize weapon upgrades until all weapon drops are the laser gun. This was you don't have to worry about any weapon support drops ruining your laser. Solid game, 4/5.
The hard part for me wasn't so much memorizing attack patterns, but memorizing which bosses released which power ups and knowing when the right time to use a bomb was.
I very rarely comment on a game, but for badge help, try the following:
Lizard Eyes, Subzero Antennae, Cyborg Head, Rooster Body, Power Paws, Scorpion Tail, Caterpillar Tracks. This should give you just enough health to survive those nasty jets and just enough speed and power to take down the cities quickly. The freeze ray works wonders against planes and helicopters, and the incinerator will help against enemy mechs. In order to collect kills and skulls, simply wait at the edge of a screen (hit the spacebar repeatedly to for your monster to fight towards the edge) while blasting your freeze ray at the ground. The people on the ground will freeze, but not die, and the buildings will keep producing civilians as well, allowing you to wait until enough people are frozen to crush them all at once. Running low on energy? No problem! Simply step on a small group and collect their skulls, your energy will replenish and you can keep the pattern up until a gold star is awarded.
Okay so the trick with the Impossible Badge is that you can't get hit, period. I know the tip says "(no damage)" but even if you get hit while shielded, the achievement is lost. Bullocks, I've done this twice.
The worst problem with this game is the Mofunzone Icon in the bottom right corner... whenever you try to attack something down there, the link is activated and it messes up your gameplay.
Otherwise, a fun concept and not too bad of a game.
