Very amateurish. I played a lot of tycoon games: you have some nice ideas and the setting is original but you seem to have done a game just to put it in your resume. Most of the stuff has been done countless times. UI is bad and buggy. Let's not even talk about the graphic dept since I don't think it's particularly important. Not good.
Too simple (actually the decisions you can take are very few), too random (you can't forecast price trends at any level) and as years progress it becomes too fast and you just click wherever you can. Not really a good manager game.
Nice manager game for 30 something execs who feel their life sucks... since everyone's life sucks... anyway: nice game, go write a script and kill all your neighbours with a machete: you're not getting the softball team if you develop games
Bad G and SFX. Bad interface. Bad gameplay (sometimes you win or lose... and you really don't get why). No info around on heroes, stats, monster and especially overall gameplay. There's much better around.
The game is complex in a bad way:
- multipaths simply force you to grind levels
- graphic is ugly and confusing
- the fact that units are not movable (are them?) is bad (look at INCURSION for a good mechanic of this kind)
- controls are buggy and confusing
I love TD but this one is not a good one. Some ideas are nice but sorry: 2/5
Already commented but something is changing. Sure the grind is the same but new features are being introduced. Especially the Daily events with the Equalizer tourneys are nice. Unfortunately many other things need improvement:
1) Auctions: no working search (in card DB too: so you need to check abilities 1 by 1), minimum price set by the system, only cards on sale (no items), browsing is slow, vague timing on sale expiration force you to waste time (no minutes: hours only)
2) You cant get the items you want: some are not always available (like runes) while they are really important to fight well
3) Scores on PvP: No ELO system. You can lose points by losing an unwinnable match VS people much higher level than you
4) Matchmaking: it's standard to fight VS people with a great lvl/power difference. And that's not much fun
Hope the devs dont ruin the game by putting out too powerful cards but keep the game balanced (new cards: ok. OP cards: bad)
Standard fantasy card game with turn based strategic battles. The thing is that it works just as any farmville game: you can spend lots of time to level up but if you're willing to pay you can destroy the game. It's satisfiying to reach all the achievements and the community is nice but it remains a free2play grinding or a pay and win. Sure the strategy involved in building decks and battling is nice and can be compared to nice games like poxnora and so on. Unfortunately as you level up you find yourself VS people double your level, double your HP, double your cards, full of legendaries. And thats not fun.
Sorry man. The reason why there are 10 thousands TD games with the same basic mechanics out there is that those mechanics work. Trying to reinvent the wheel might take you into something like this: something that doesnt work. For sure implementing the immortal (or more durable) towers and focusing on the usual labirinth building is not the right decision to get your game some attention but forcing 300 APM with an unfriendly UI is neither. Think about autocollecting money for first and then maybe about a build plan turn based game in order for players to PLAN-START WAVE-WIN or LOSE and REPEAT... this might turn into something not much exciting but I guess the TD players would rather have a static build/upgrade plan than this messy, always-lose-in-2/4-minutes run. Sprites are ripped from KR?
Liked this game for the steep learningt curve. Level 5 on easy was pretty tough and after 200 TD games it's pretty something new for me. Let me go depper into the game for a more insightful perspective
Finished all the achievements by day 80... all but the hipsters one. Then i tried really hard until day 170 and something... no room service, no cleaning, most dumb guy at the reception, all the amenities closed, killed some 20-30 random guys. It took nearly 100 days to have the approval rate with negative numbers and still no hipsters. Game is fun for 10 minutes: you should try to include more elements or it gets boring fast. Anyway try to give some hint on how to get hipsters since I don't want to demolish the whole Inn to get them.
Yeah some lag and GFX to be improved but it's a fresh new TD game. I really enjoyed the DEMO maxing out everything in 4 hours work. Anyway I'm not going to pay 4 the full game... I'm not going to pay for this stuff guys: I'm sure you put some effort in it and the result is nice but it's not enough for anyone into games to pay for it...
Game is too basic. I've played hundreds of TD games but here I've just played couple of levels and didn't want to go any further. Improve your product (GFX, Structure, Gameplay, only the upgrade elements and the enemies are on par with other games) or I don't think it will be interesting for anyone with so many good TD out there.
Good input!
