Great concept and really interesting levels, but has the same problem as Shift where the gameplay is really inconsistent due to wonky collision detection and game physics.
Absolutely love this game. Well thought out, well balanced, nice and challenging. It even teaches you the basics of different sources of energy in use today. Just wish it was longer!
kinda lame that you're required to spend each skill point when you get it, I'm level 5, but want two level 6 skills rather than any more available to me
For those complaining the bosses are unkillable, Darkness/Rapid Fire is the best combo right now. With 50% chance on each, you basically have perpetual Rapid Fire which does damage proportional to their health, regardless of your attack damage. This will kill any boss in a few seconds. Well, except a darkness boss, then you just have to rely on Air and Ice to knock it back and slow it until you can whittle its health down.
It's a shame all the top comments are so harsh. I love the concept and the minimalist visual design. There are obviously balance issues and a lot of irrelevant skills at the moment, but it's always good to see developers working their butts off to integrate our suggestions. I can't wait to see where this game goes.
I don't understand, the dials were moving back and forth at a reasonable rate for the first kick, and then they became absurdly fast for every kick after that.
Love this game so far, but I'm trying to link the account on my android device to my main account on kongregate, and it's saying "this link ID doesn't exist" when I enter the link ID and password from my main kongregate account. Any advice?
Hey, sorry about that! Known bug where your password doesn't save quite right. Try going back into the Account Linking menu here on Kong, and change your link password, then give it another shot.
Kindof disappointed that none of the blacksmith upgrades apply to endless mode. I understand from a balancing standpoint, but perhaps you could add a button on the talent page for the blacksmith, with a reduced money rate or something. Arrows just feel really useless in endless mode now.
They do apply. Endless Mode has enemy scaling, which is why your arrows seem to be doing less damage (although they're still outputting the same damage numbers) The reason behind this was to make Endless Mode a bit more challenging.
10k gold earned medal seems bugged. I got it after the first world when I only earned about 2500 gold, and someone else seems to have not earned it after completing the game.
How to get through the Charlie Foxtrot that is 20km Survival: Upgrade pretty much everything, but mainly Health, Regen, Damage Reduction, More Support Items, and the Medical Kit. Activate Big Magnet and Weapon Booster (so they won't show up while you're running) and Unlimited Jumping. I did this with the laser gun, but you might be able to do it without it.
The strategy is basically to mash the jump key so you stay above the screen the entire time, only dipping down to collect Health and Rockets when you need them. Learn to watch for support items when it gets too crazy. You might not need the rockets, but they kill the UFOs, which are pretty much the only things that can hurt you when you're above the screen. Anyway, this is all probably pretty obvious, but hopefully helpful.
Frantic 2 was a great game, fun, challenging, and, most importantly, polished. This seems unfinished or rushed. The core gameplay is good, most likely copied from Frantic 2 with some graphics changes. But the shop seems buggy (extra weapon and accessory slots) and unfinished (no stats about anything). Coins become useless long before you've finished playing if you're trying to get unharmed achievements, but there's no option to disable coins, which was highly requested on Frantic 2 comments. I want to like this game, because I liked Frantic 2 so much, but it really adds nothing to the series. Rating: 2/5
I will gladly upgrade to 5/5 if the developer makes a few changes.
