Some balancing in (un)happiness is needed. I can make 1e7 peasants happy. Sounds like a lot! But the wizards with 1e5 happiness are producing a million times more gold. I think the BIG problem is, as mentioned by others, the food gain << gold gain. Consider unlimited food, all professions have a similar gold ratio cost:income.
@Oniken: Tnx, but no success either. Have been trying that as well with same attributes (int/ins/spell/wis: 50/50/75/100) that brought me to e77 mysteries in steps of 100 (+1e2 each run). Being stuck around e74, i.e. same as Necromancer. I got the Necro + giant from Idle Wizard Wiki - class/pet combos.
The major update a few weeks ago, seems to make it very hard to increase my mystery count (e77). I ran a necromancer + risen giant for 13 days and only approached e75 mysteries. Is this a "wall"? Or did the rules change so much that I have to change tactics? ... yes, I would like to unlock crafting items (e80) :).
Something sinister is happening: Once I'm back to killing those pesky human after some devilish activity (like changing diapers) they start throwing gems, like 10 or so. Then, an evil algorithm whispers in my ear: "You had enough free stuff, I'm not giving you more! Go to the shop and buy with real cash you cheap bastard."
Please, remove game till it is more flashed out. I started roughly a month ago and there is nothing to do, nothing to grind for. In particular with the "unlimited energy" solar-center sphere there was not even balancing (between new resource generators and spenders) needed. Updates are rare and when there are some, I have already 10x amount of necessary resources to build all new stuff. I understand the dev wants a continues progress from the start, but the game is pre-pre-pre-alpha release.
A midway solution can be to limit storage upgrades, work on new stuff that drain resources instead of only giving more (like the recent new research science efficiencies). Please, make the game worth coming back to!
Sometimes you just need a little bit more luck! As mentioned by @JustNobody, the arena spin machine CAN give earth shards. After 1weeks of almost no considerable card wins, and 4500 games, the machine DID gave me an EARTH SHARD... let's go see what this earth golem is all about!
Trading ship have broken in my game. NaN values for goods, 0.0 sec ETA and not arriving. Furthermore, it would be great to make "complex trade routes" and rename fleets. With complex routes I mean you can let a single fleet visit multiple planets. Most of all, it keeps overview simple. It also is more meaningful. Dropping off some cargo while on a way to a friend/next deal is reasonable, right?
^ Yes, indeed. Today got a nice upgraded card from false god (totally useless one... but at least it brought in some cash).
Btw. Is it (still) possible to earn earth shards?
A superboost after a long disconnect are nice to "catch up", but it should be more carefully thought out. For example, trade ships do not get the superboost, meaning my economy of moving around resources brakes. Also, the boost phase gives me creeps for wanting to build an additional building that makes use of the superboost, and in my rush buying the wrong things.
Is it plain bad luck, or has the changes of winning cards from false gods decreased? The last 20 haven't yielded any cards (not counting the losses ;)!
I consider this a bug: Having all elemental chances at 100% (knockback, slow), and max attack speed (10), but without any damage potential (1e6). The game run in endless mode (stalemate) around wave 450. All enemies are knocked back without chance to get to my tower, and the tower has not the damage output to kill any blocks. Wait till a universal boss or drop quit the round?
