JoJo777890 is right I had the same thing happen to me. The game is good but when it breaks, it ruins the experience. I like the game, but not when it's broken.

As an American, it took me about 15 minutes or so figure out that ground floor came before 1st floor. In America, we don't say "ground" floor, we call it the 1st floor because it's the 1st FLOOR PEOPLE SEE.

Finally! I bring to you my next idea, which I mentioned in my multiple planes comment. That idea is this: plane parts can have failures, and even cause you to crash land! I will now simplify a complex-ish system: Each plane has 3 main parts: The left wing, the right wing, and the tail fin. There is then a part for each engine the plane requires. Each flight, there is a chance that a part may be broken, and you will need to buy a new one. There will be another building in the back left that is a "parts shop" where you can buy all kinds of parts. This will work similarly to the market. Next, you can fly with a broken part. There is a much higher chance of crash landing than usual, and you will lose your cargo, but go back to the city from which you took off from at no cost. You will then need to fully repair. Finally, you can scrap parts for money, but decrease you plane value and repair time. If you have ideas, please comment!
Now, in my previous comment, I proposed multiple planes. In my mind, the way that this would work is that at each city, planes cost slightly different prices. For example, Harare has the second plane for a lowered $80,000, while in Johannesburg, the plane cost a chunk more, going for $110,000. This seems odd, but it rolls into my second idea. Once you own that other plane, you can move it around, but only in pieces. You can have a plane completely taken apart into pieces so that you can move it for a price, based on the plane, and each part takes up a different amount of space. I.E., the engine takes up 2x4 to 2x6, and the wings from 2x6 to 3x8. This allows you to move the parts around. Individually, which rolls into the idea in my NEXT comment!
This is a two coment post, and this is part (2) (2) Moonlighterz got it right down to the point. I am in full agreement, and I propose two things. The first is that there should be a change where once every 5th level you get 3 Flight Certs. I think that the 3:5 ratio of certs to levels is much easier, seeing as you also get an item on the other 4 levels. I do think that the "auto repair with workshop" function does remove the entire function of having to repair your plane. I also think that the repair function needs to have mroe importance, seeing as if you play the market correctly, you can have $400,000 at level 3, like I did. If you make add a few things, this can change! Idea 1: You have to use in-game cash to get the repair instantly, but the cost increase w/ each plane. Idea 2: You can have more than 1 plane. My next comment will have more detail.
This is a two comment post, and this is part (1) I have two problems. (1) I agree with the user firxen. The 24-hour refresh rate is a bit absurd. It does make the market a pain to work with, as nothing changes all day. It is difficult to fill certain orders, plus you cannot play the market very well. Within my first hour or so of play time, I had about $400,000 because I was able to play the market so well. It definitely helped, but I did notice how the market items only give 1 XP point, so I do think that aspect works well. I do find it annoying, however, that when you sell an item to a market, that that item does NOT increase the quantity of that item at that market.
