FINALLY beat the Star Room. Started with 2 red mages in the middle (upgrade both after 1st wave), then 2 dexers on corners (upgrade at least once early on). Then 2 more red mages in the center and a purple. After that 3 more red mages, then an alchemist. I also cleared a square and put a necromancer but I think I would have done even better if I just upgraded everybody that was waiting for it. Put emphasis on the red mages for upgrades (or purple if a purple-weak wave is coming), and upgrade the alchemist as soon as you can (specialist). Only use general upgrades for the non-alchemist mages
The rocket launcher seems to prefer targets on the leftmost of the screen. A pain in the arse when I want it to shoot the critter in front of me, and it's firing at one I already passed. Also it doesn't home on obstructions so frequent door smackings abound lol!
Loved this version. I liked the individual weapon experience levels. Maybe the next version could do something with other survivors? (there must be some, otherwise the money would have been of no use lol!)
I like this game, I recognised a few similarities to the "Cursed" ToD games. It could do with some enemies that oppose class types. For instance, maybe flying opponents that warriors can't reach, magic immune golems, skeletons for whom arrows go straight through with no damage, perhaps
