I used to enjoy logging in every day, buying new upgrades, and feel like I was progressing. I'm a pretty patient person, but the Moon is testing even my patience. I'm honestly getting bored now. I've been playing this game for months, but the Moon is ridiculous, and I'm honestly starting to believe the the Moon has been made intentionally so slow because you're milking it for gold purchases, which is the only viable way of making any sort of reasonable progression on the Moon. It's a cash cow.
You've got the balance very, very wrong on the Moon, and while it may seem profitable now, just wait until the core player base gets bored of the pace and moves on. The Moon lacks any sense of progression or reward, and without that drip-drip-drip of accomplishment, there's not a lot of point.
It would be really helpful if the blue circles in Unlocks filled up like progression bars, so you can see how close you are to getting each new achievement.
How about reintroducing micromanagement with a cool-down instead? So instead of if forcing you to buy another business level to restart the meter, for one turn the business will move at say, 10x slower than it's normal speed. Or 15x. Whatever would be a fair balance. That way people don't get "stuck" when they've upgraded their business so long that it takes an age to afford to restart it.
Do you know why the new layout is confusing? Everything looks like a button. The orange buy button looks like the yellow payout display button.
Make the orange payout display grey or much dimmer, and create some hover effect over the buy button. Maybe something simple like the text changes white. Make what is/isn't a button clearer.
BUG:
When buying an upgrade to increase angel effectiveness, the cash display outputs aren't being updated, although it appears the extra funds are being generated. If you log out/back in, the correct cash amounts are displayed. It looks like you just need make the cash amounts refresh after buying this particular upgrade. I'm not sure if this effects other upgrades.
OIL REFINERIES ARE BROKEN
Oil refineries are broken. My oil refineries say they'll make 1.2 quintillion, but only paying out 61 quadrillion. Please rate this comment so developers can see.
It would be really useful if you could see the income generated by the next purchased business. It would make deciding what to upgrade a much more informed process.
Now that we have ancients, another idea for an additional tab would be Soul Condensers; for each acquired ancient, you would have a condenser for them, and instead of receiving souls, the souls acquired would go towards reducing the purchasing requirement of the next level of that Ancient. The more you level up that Ancient Condenser, the quicker the cost of the Ancient will come down. Until you make the purchase, of course, then the price would go to whatever the purchasing cost of the next level is, and the process continues. Minimum price would always be 1 soul, of course.
We really need some form of cloud-based or email save storage. People reporting losing all their data now and then is always a bit of a worry. It would be nice to have a regularly saved backup somewhere.
For now, you can save your file to your local hard drive with the Export button in the Settings menu.
