@Jakey2wu He's using RPGMaker. He's barely programming. Anyway, the current protests are is mostly not about the games themselves per se, but that there is MANY of them, and they constantly become BOTD. When you don't really like the games, ALL the badges are "complete it", and the dialogue alone takes forever, it becomes infuriating very fast.
Starts well, but then gets more and more tedious. Attempts were made at adding clever complications to solve, but when you're going for the BOTD (or is just determined to complete the game), it becomes clear that the basic idea doesn't really support adding much more on top.
Last time it seems I got tired of it on level 16. This time I'm powering through, but I can't say I'm enjoying it.
@Balbane. I love adventure games, I love detective games. I was brought up on the Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken and Monkey Island Games. They had LOTS of dialogue. But they were entertaining and interesting, not just waiting for it be over with.
