I really really really want to like this game. Every time my HDD doesn't have enough room to install a new app though, it just drives me crazy when it says not enough memort, Hint: Upgrade Hard Drive. HARD DRIVE IS STORAGE NOT MEMORY. MEMORY=RAM NOT HARD DRIVE. How does a programmer not know this?
Wow, when going to install my second app, the test editor, game tells me I don't have enough memory, upgrade hard drive. I would think that a programmer would understand the difference between memory(RAM) and storage(HDD), but I guess not.
some sort of autosave or something would be really great. I left the game running overnight last night and there was a power outage and my save got lost somehow.
If I move with the keyboard, why do you make me use the mouse to high five santa. If WASD worked that wouldn't be so bad, but that is piss poor UI design to make user go back and forth from keyboard to mouse.
This "game" is amazing. I have some very small background in programming, having learned BASIC a long long time ago and then moving on to doing a little bit in Visual Basic. What you have so far was fairly easy for me because of that but was a great refresher and neat to learn the newer syntax. Please please please continue this. It was a lot of fun.
Good game, minus the glitches. Couple recommendations though. How about mentioning somewhere in the game itself that you can rotate objects and how. Would be nice if it was mentioned in the "tutorial" when it tells you to buy a register and 2 CD racks. At the least, it should be mentioned in the guide. An autosave after every day would be nice too.
For all the complaints about missing all the time, you can't just start off by adventuring, you gotta spend some time training first. Think about you, you start of as a 13 year old kid. Spend the first couple years working, building stats and training. You then won't miss as much.
Kong, if you cannot get the dev to fix the game cause he doesn't care or is dead or whatever, at least remove it. make it stop recommending it. Remove it's Achievements so it stops telling me to do them. Something, anything.
But it is optional: you can just press the Space or Return key
