ideas/improvements: make the coins add extra time to the timer; make it so you have to return from each secret room to its main room to complete the level; save my progress/scores; add a home screen/level hub so I can see my progress/scores. Probably only a 3/5 as it is, but I gave 5/5 because good games are hard enough to find these days without being buried
Having played the game some more, I have more suggestions:
1) the in-game "home" button should be replaced with a "levels" button; 2) should be a level selection screen for the challenge levels 3) game never seems to remember/load my previous solutions for the challenge levels; 4) please make the test cases better...for example prime numbers < 30 should really have 25 as a test case...the way it is, your game encourages sloppy programming. I miss the malevolence engine.
multiply by 2 in 15; divide by 2 in 20; accept divisble by 2 in 16; reverse sign in 22; add 50 in 28; multiply by 3 in 18; the others I haven't really optimized yet. My black box level uses 79 parts and I don't know if I can be bothered optimizing because there is no logic to it
awesome but I have two suggestions: 1) save the level solutions automatically please 2) display parts used per level on the level select screen there. Otherwise great
might be the best puzzle game I've played this year. Not sure yet because I've been stuck on level "the worst moment in your life is coming" for a while and you're right: I should get back to work. Either way 5/5
The level design/puzzles in this game are good, but the movement is too slow to truly enjoy. And if I was a vampire, and I was on fire or being chased by billy the vampire slayer psycho goat, I think I'd be running?
Great game. Only improvement would be increasing the speed maybe (though I realise that would ruin the effect of the skipping carefree). And adding a timer.
Has potential but 1) should accept all correct solutions, e.g. http://i.imgur.com/tzsrOse.png 2) should be able to enter numbers with keyboard and 3) individual square colour shouldn't change depending whether or not I have the "correct" number entered
I originally wanted to include several color schemes as an option, but didn't have the time to implement it in the end. It could come as an update though, thanks for reminding me.
Cool game. Some kind of bug I've encountered twice now where the music fades out, the screen goes black and I have to refresh—but other than that, really nice. I love the way things get weird very quickly.
Pretty good. I liked it enough to find some things to complain about. 1: The horizontal movement feels slightly sluggish. If the old man was more sprightly, I'd have more fun, I think. 2: the jetpack item feels like more of a power-down than a power-up, I invariably die if I pick it up because the fuel runs out in the middle of what would have been an easy jump. 3: a keyboard shortcut for restarting on the game-over screen would be great. 4: add Kong api/high scores
Congratulations!
