Autobuilding turrents are working now only in normal mode.
Try refreshing the game, there were quite a few hotfixes.

Why new prestige layer delete all previous prestige layers stats and prestige points? It's annoying because after reaching new prestige layer it's feel more like a massive regress than progress.
