It's good to see you trying to branch out into other genres but there are a few problems. As always, your writing is impeccable but the battle system is too gimmicky and doesn't really add anything. I know it's hard to find innovation in turn based combat, but battles felt too long and the minigames got in the way.
Also, I think with an RPG game like this, there needs to be some stats and numbers for us to follow. I didn't understand what any of my skills did and the only explanation was one line during the tutorial. You say it was meant to be tactical, but it was anything but that. I just spammed Claw Attack and Dual Attack because they did the most damage.
Feedback: Flesh out the battle system more so that we know what every skill does. Add some stats so we know how powerful our characters are. Reduce the HP of the enemies so battles are shorter.
I see, thanks for the input. I am still learning so there are bound to be some bad tuning, but we will get there, we will have a good rpg on our hands one day. ;D
The game has a lag spike for me every 4 seconds and it really interrupts gameplay cause it cancels my movements. Would like a minimap displayed on screen so I don't have to stop moving to open the map. It's a pretty good, fun game and the first one was fun, but the stuttering is really affecting my enjoyment. I give it a 3/5
