@Zag24 when I played it last, there was no difficulty options. the timers on the waves then were as bad as the hard mode, if not faster (which would cause issues upgrading guards, mines, trees, etc.). not 100% sure since it's been a few days since I've slept. trying it out again though right now and it seems so much simpler and less rushing to get things done between waves.
yeah, once you get to the orc raid where they spawn inside the base, I can't do anything about it... even 7 guards all with axes (after 2 upgrades) still all die, and I can't get gold fast enough to do anything more (this is 4 miners, 4 ores, all the blue)... I really like this game, keep playing it, but I cannot get past that part no matter what I try
probably just need to add gold from orc kills and it could offset a lot of the issues I run into... upgrades spike in money faster than gold can be gained along with orc increases still high
tried many times, can't ever get more than 10 waves. too many orcs for no time to get guards and food decreases so fast. by the time i can have a good food resource, too many orcs compared to guards even upgraded to 2.
