Very much underrated. I love this game from when I first saw it (3-4 years ago I think) on another site... Though it still irked me that I had to dogfight destroyers vertically since the screen wasn't quite wide enough for the entire turning circle. if another one is made, perhaps give us slightly less laggy controls (they stick ocasionally, which is annoying, going in circles while getting shot to hell) and a wider or all round larger screen.
@ thecheaterdude:
Not a Mig-15 obviously :( those things could use 1-3 20 mm cannon rounds and take down a B-29...
regardless, the cherry tapping and surviving while staying behind them is the fun of the game

"As the author put it, There is no game. Lion, and Kakashi, since there's no content, there's almost no valid reason to have badges, since they'd be free points, unlike some other "chat only" which have some trivial puzzle or quota for the badge"
One of the highest ranked comments clearly states that the reason for this "game" is for lag free, distraction free Community and Interaction (AkA Chatting)
I Understand your concern about being unable to beat "level <###> but

"Since the content past the NPCs is almost completely Player Content, that means that YOU, yes YOU, must lead by example."
One way therefore, of interpreting this, on a broader scale, means YOU make the level, YOU beat it.
TL;DR version Lag free way to use KongChat, improvise if you can't beat level <###>, Stop being so immature, this isn't a popularity contest.
to unstick the keys, push in the direction that it gets stuck in and pray that there isn't a robot in that direction, because it'll make you jump that way really fast before unsticking
takes an extremely long time to load if your connection gets interrupted, but it's worth it. The problem I have is with the troops shooting linked to my own.
Frankly, here are a few tips: aim a LOT ahead of them, because the server likes to lag, and the turret traverse takes a while
if you aren't hitting something, stop shooting, unless you're sweeping for a spy tank (which is visible, almost translucent and you can see its health meter when it gets hit)
Never buy the backwards tank, it's large, slow, and you can't see what you're shooting at.
a good tank is the rapid tank
never stand still, it makes it easier to shoot you
heavy tanks with a few speed upgrades are nice.
always take health upgrades, even when you don't need them, since someone else might need it.
anything past 6 turn upgrades makes it impossible to drive without a few speed (or just tap the keys, if you have the finesse)
speed is life, never drive into a wall or corner
charge at people from weird angles
Regen tank. need I say more?

Gef21, When shields represent health, don't you think that's slightly IMBA? I agree that some damage should be done, but it's not to hard to plasma cannon an EMP'd ship
interesting fan fic type thing in the background, typical of many JRPGs... what's missing is the Phallic Swords that are usually around as tall as the protagonists, but otherwise, good Job, 5/5 :P
Yes, the Shocker is slightly overpowered in FFA, but in teams, unless you all were stupid enough to not check their planes, then deal with it accordingly, then no, it isn't. You just need someone with a spitty or zerk to fly slower, then speed up while the shocker attempts to make the kill on their EMP'd target. it rips them to shreds
Since I'm studying flash programming along side Python, I think I might try to throw something together that is similar, but really, from what I see, the host gets one statset and the clients another, so when they lag, they get Async, don't fix, and when anyone's hp, regardless of who's (client, server, host) the person dies, which is a problem of hitboxing, and lazy coding...
WAR HAWKS UNITE XD... for now anyways
