If you consider time, the most profitable by far is parsnips.
Worm seeds are 90,000, but only sell for 2,000. Sushi sells for 27,000 but takes 10 worm seeds.
Picnic baskets take 5 each of Cheese, Omelettes, Pies, Wool and Sushi.
