I've beaten the last level about 10 times. It does NOT award the badge later, just stops before the 'John Turner' trophy is awarded.
The only way to see the final video seems to be to lose the last level first attempt.
Very nice game, but one fault for me: my archer has 27 basic agility is wearing items giving +15 agility total, and still can't use a bow requiring 28 agility (same problem with Rogan and the best sword)
