I found a solution to the lag. Leave one board of Extreme Brickout not updated. When finished with everything you are doing, focus in on it. Because the game doesn't actually animate all the boards unless you are zoomed out, it eliminates the lag.
I like Pingy's comments. Add more and make them stay on screen a little longer. I like "My favorite treat is Cookie Dough Ice Ping", "They have a Pingo at the Senior Center on Tuesday night", "Hey, what's happinging", "Is that your phone pinging?", "Have you met Pingy the Pooh?", "Ice Cap Theatre is doing Pingmalion".
