There is plenty of gameplay here, hawk your wares all you like. But running away should have a chance to not work, unless you throw some gold pieces at the enemy as a distraction [shouldn't take many except for bosses maybe].
Hondon of Chaos w/ Blood Rune spoilers: block the two southern paths with two boxes [add a third later for more security], place one demon tower in the upper right, then use slime traps and pushing traps to grind everything into the five awesome spike blocks [put the super slimer next to the demons by the skeleton on the floor in the upper right corner]. Add more demons and bolt traps after the spike/slime/push combo for control over the Thief boss wave. Smash the beetles, ka-thunk ka-thunk ka-thunk!
Great stuff here. Good to see new life in these Elona/DCSS tiles [and it's fun seeing fans of them popping up in these comments]. Art attribution would be nice -- I know at least most of these things are copyleft or somesuch, but I can't find the artists myself. ... Er, could you make the team re-target when teleport orbs are used? Right now they're kinda suicidal.
Grease up your feet and run over a hill of friends' and enemies' carcasses to the door at Zofia's fortress. You'll be given the most appropriate reward possible: nothing! - http://i.imgur.com/KP8SivT.png
I want to RETIRE, for once I have enough loot! Skadi is just wrong. It does bad, bad things to the poor monsters... Roll just as you hit the button to exit the level for extra fun. Good luck with the Kickstarter!
In an ironic twist of game mechanics, a level 30 Rift/Murk Blades-using Dark Lord fresh out of Normal can tank far better than a level 50 Devastation Paladin in Heroic uniques. Since attack speed never varies, only attacks that hit more than once per casting can give you the enormous amounts of HP On Hit needed to thrive on Heroic. Melee = hard mode.
It's an hour later, and I've finally bested my first score to reach wave 13. I love it -- the difficulty, ambiance, minimalism, xenofiction, and downright scariness. It's been a while since I've been stumped and still interested; well done!
Thank you so much, means a lot to hear you liked it:D on another note, you say you got to wave 13, the highscores say 18, did you reach that after? or is it a bug? if not......that's insane I can't believe it!, also have you seen your total kills? over 3400....
edit: tested, and I don't think it could have been a bug, so wow, just wow:D
I love this Diablo-esque game, it's a 5+♥, but Sacred Might needs fixed. As a warning to players: Sacred Might starts at +15% damage [calculated the same way as any other +%damage!], and goes up ONE percent per level, making it absolutely, mathematically, a wasted skill slot. [This notice applies to version 1.14, and maybe it isn't as bad for mages, I dunno.]
Spoilers! Wrong Way: go back. View All + Monkey: press E on objects in your room. Fear of Sound: mute the game [during the game]. Curiosity: E on first painting. Researcher: climb to the closet from the nightstand. Look into the Eyes of Fear: jump during the long mirror. For an easier Perfect Passage, walk off the invisible ledge on the bookshelf to exit your room; you'll float through the game [until the first time you're knocked down]. Jump in the left edge of your room to see something REALLY creepy. Magic Box and Comfort: I dunno.
An option to decide how many planets to load between display frames? Oh yes, those giant planets ARE worth conquering on my comp's Lego graphics card. You're a marvel of the modern world, Apple.
I don't know why you thought a 3D Snake game would work, but it does. Was this a dare? xD Throw in some complications and this could really be a thing. Great controls btw.
SAVE YOUR GAME. I just lost for no reason. All barricades were intact, no zombies were in the endzone, the three Hands of Ra at the exit had no shadows to shoot -- the game just ended out of nowhere. Save your game.
I love the unlockable "extra difficulty" towers. Boost the moving ability, put up one column for each tower type with offensives at the front, then survive long enough to move your wall blocks a square or two forward so you can move the powerful towers from your factory area in to make a deadly non-construction column.
The title screen seems particularly out of place because this is a rip of Crypt Worlds, which you can find deep inside the bowels of cicadamarionette.com. I can't find any link between a DJRussia or Zega Fun Inc and those credited with Crypt Worlds' creation, and I'd very much like to know if one exists.
