I liked the game, but the jumping stuff is a little old. It took the lazy game dev thing around the 2nd to last level of "I just made you do all of this, and now you have to go back through it to 'increase difficulty" when the controls are shit. I'm fine with the controls being shit if it's a puzzle game, but then you began to rely on the games difficulty as a platformer.
This game has some of the most ridiculous AI ever. There comes a point where you need to balance the difficulty and playability, and this game barely has control of that. Just because I play musical chairs with a clearly inferior enemy for 5 minutes doesn't make the game hard. Then, I can breeze through the game on hard when out of nowhere the game just either stops counting how many units I send or just makes the enemy superior. The difficulty just doesn't make sense.
Oh, and not to mention sometimes a kid gets hold of my truck UNDERNEATH of it and the only way to hit him is to fire at exactly 90 degrees ABOVE the truck!
Needs an auto-fire, badges are broken, and I can't get passed one of the levels cause it says that there are 7 kids left but yet none of them every come. This is just a recycled version of that kids vs. Santa game.
This game was really awesome. Probably one of the better flash games I've played in a while. I would be interested after the campaign was over if you unlocked a survival mode to see what wave you could get to. I'm just sad the game is over!
I'm pretty sure with all of the recent ebola stuff going on that Madagascar is bullshit in having just shut down it's borders on my game where a literally harmless virus has infected 3 countries!
King to his Siege Commander "No, you only get a gold medal if you shoot all three shots at the same time. Not for shooting one shot two or three times. They have to all be shot AT ONCE!"
This SHOULD be a casual game but the amount of hammering your finger does on the up key to jump is anything but casual. There are some features that could be added to make the game more user friendly, like for instance if you earn a full suit you should be able to preview what the bonus is or at least once you've seen it it should be listed somewhere. It'd be awesome if there was an easier way to swap full costumes, or at least if you could change the order of the cats are without swapping their costumes. I also hate how long it takes to count your fish and level you up.
I agree with most everyone else. The one jumping part is just ridiculously hard. I don't mind need skill to do something, but it was difficult to even practice how to get up there. It seems like when when I developed a plan to do it right something would mess up. Maybe it's a control issue more than anything.
Think about it: I'm going to burn alive but have the company of a selfish computer who didn't let me go or I can leave and have a shot at living? Hmm... Best thing to do is mention you're hungry and then tell him what the box says.
It's a fun game despite the errors in grammar/syntax. I do wish coins didn't need picked up and that an army of burglars with hang-gliders didn't invade my mall every single night.
I gave it a 4 because a couple times I got stuck in the environment and basically had to hope a monster came by and killed me. Other than that the story, artwork, and execution of this game is phenomenal. I do agree I wish you could close doors.
