Fun but way too easy. Beat it without ever losing a battle, never missed more than 2 batteries in a level, and only used all of the bombs to get the in-game achievement. Letting my submarine be destroyed as I'm typing this comment in order to get the last achievement.
Pretty good (never mind the dialogue, obivously english isn't the developer's first language). But there are some bugs that really need to be taken care of.
One of the most annoying is when the monsters sometimes don't turn with the track, ignoring where they should be going and simply continue straight to the edge of the screen. This usually happens when i increase the game speed in order to complete the level faster, and go on doing something else. This causes the game to lag, and the monsters not to turn with the track, but continue straight to the edge of the screen.
Upgrading existing towers isn't actually upgrading but simply replacing one tower with the other. The bad thing is it also allows you to replace existing towers with the same ones - which only happened to me by mistake. 100 mana thrown away for nothing.
At least it beats the crap out of most point and click "just randomly click everywhere, cause nothing really makes sense, except maybe in the twisted mind of the creator of this game" escape games.
It's pretty good but way too easy. There should be some more difficult races, this won't be a challenge for anyone who uses more than one finger for typing.
Also, some better animation (where you could actually see your racer sprinting like crazy when you get a high enough combo) would be rewarding.
That said, 4/5
Well it does give credit to Icy Tower on the title screen, and being a pretty decent copy of probably the most addicting game ever, i believe it deserves 4 stars. Icy tower would get about 14 out of 5.
There really should be a way to earn new cards without pure luck involved. Even if it's insanely difficult (reaching a high level or number of wins), just as long as it's not based purely on luck.
Well, first time i logged on to try to play the game, i accidentaly turned off the tips (the ones with advice on which cards to choose). Couldn't find a way to bring them back other than refreshing the page. As a beginner, i was pretty lost without them, so maybe it would be nice to have a way to bring those tips back.
