This game is not so hard. Try turning num lock off and using the number pad arrows, so you can press three at once. Now try holding the left arrow while you play the game normally with your other two fingers. It makes you move backwards at the some speed as objects approaching you. Makes the game a LOT easier.
Pretty cool game. I liked that you made plenty of new enemies rather than another swarm game with only three different types. However it's a bit buggy. Sometimes when things are destroyed such as saw disks and bad guys, they don't disappear and just stay in the same spot. It's as if the game has marked the destroyed, but hasn't stopped rendering them.
These swarm games are seriously stupid. You need to find a more efficient way of handling enemies, or just make fewer but stronger ones. The game lags so far behind it takes at least 1 minute after you stop shooting to regain control to move a lift, by which time your shaft has already been destroyed and then it's game over. These kind of games are practically impossible to finish without a quad core CPU overclocked to 4.5GHz.
Then the lack of a retry level feature is just icing on the cake. 1/5. Do some research and find a more efficient method of handling swarms before making a swarm game.
I thought it was a pretty fun game. I've beaten adventure mode and 98% difficulty on infinite. It reminds me of skyroads, but not as good and with three extra surfaces.
My biggest gripe is with the 2D figure. It just doesn't mesh with the environment and it's hard to tell exactly where you are and when you need to jump. The rest of it is pretty good fun.
The sniping part is good, but the story line is not great and poorly told. I also find it a bit weird the civilians walk past a body with an exploded head the same way they do a street light.

LemGambino - They mean everything, and did you beat the colosseum three times? Might only need to do it twice, but the third time there's a chest of coins.
Also did you fight all the enemies? The rabbit/octpus thing and the butterfly are in bushes you have to cut open.
Not bad. Problems with the game trying to be old styled, but allowing free directional movement can make it a bit tricky to hit enemies coming at you from weird angles sometimes. Also the modern graphics don't quite fit, graphics should be more pixelated to get a better retro feel. Fun game though, 4/5
