tip on making money, have 100% progress in all areas under your control (don't need every area), fully upgrade all factories, have all engineers in your team, and just skip days you will get the money and you won't get attacked.
tip to you all, if you are in short supply of people then re-explore the 1st part of the westside area, by my experience I usually find 5 to 10 people there.
I lost all my progress despite saving it several times when I exited the game. For that this game just sucks for me and until the save is fixed my rating will stay a 1 star (and also I can't unlock everything so it makes this game suck even more and I would rate it even lower than one star).
