So far they did announce it in the description when things were only last for a limited time. e.g. the little demon in the Halloween event. I don't see any reason why the snow guns would disappear...
People with security hardened browsers get the following error: "An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
Security Error: The operation is insecure."
Although the game is kind of "slowish" the first time, I do like the concept as well as the game play. Suggestion: maybe add a table of achievements (with small bonuses when they're fulfilled?) e.g. killed 100/500/1000 vampires/zombies/ghosts/...
The official browsers have confirmed they'll drop flash within the next few upgrades. However one can always use a "legacy" browser like waterfox. Make sure you install flash on waterfox before adobe drops it! As for EBF5: I wish there was a way to give it a 5+ star rating! Thank you Kupo for those incredible games!
It's been quite some time since there was an update. Has development stalled for some reason or other? Or has the dev's attention been turned away by other (maybe professional) projects?
No idea what you changed in your code, but moving the screen is now 200% more smoothly than it was before! Cudos! Can you increase the increment with which a mouse wheel scrolls in the blueprint window? Right now you have to scroll a lot to move just a little up or down.
If the screen is set at 90%, the interface becomes almost unreadable. Please change the colours of the tiles: white lettering on a light grey background is barely legible. I do like the game, but the early beginnings are just too slow: if you can increase the pace (slightly) you could attract more players.
Still thinking about the blueprint mechanism: why not integrate the upgrade mechanism as a function in each technology hexagon? That way you can simplify the repository as a simple graphic map showing the number of pieces collected. This should work at least for the common techs which have the biggest representation in the repository. That way you could keep the current repository upgrade mechanism for the rare and epic techs.
Would you mind having a look at the blueprint repository scroll mechanism? Sometimes I have to try numerous times before it scrolls down a little bit. It sometimes is hard work for people using an old fashioned mouse instead of a touchscreen.
I shall definitely add a scroll bar - I'm designing the game to work with a mouse (at least, that's my main tool of interaction) and I honestly wasn't expecting anyone using a touch screen.
This little game made me smile... If this is just a prototype, I can hardly wait to see what else you'll come up with: flying witches who can pick up the peasants, surprise werewolfs and other creatures, evil (black) ghosts attacking the white ones and doubling them if successful, etc etc etc! You have a hit with lots of potential!
Suggestion: maybe add an arrow or a slider bar to the (common) blueprint repository. It's not visually straightforward that there are blueprints underneath the first 2 rows.
I like the tree-approach in an idle structured game! Well done & designed. I only have one issue: for some reason or other I can't assign a boost. Am I missing some mechanism or key combo, or will it be redesigned later?
That's... actually a terrific idea. Thank you!
