This game, in one level, goes from easy one wave, to "HOLY CRAP" HARD... Not letting anything past the first gem tower, to everything gets past 5 the next wave... What the crap?!?!? Any help?

Is it bad that I've beaten GemCraft and GemCraft Labyrinth, but I can't seem to get past level like 7 on this game. Makes me so mad....
