I don't know if I'm reading too far into it, but this game presents an interesting exploration of revenge and death; it's almost confronting to have to kill hundreds of footsoldiers and see your companions die before your eyes, just because you were selfish with your choice of upgrades. And in the end, there's no real consolation, just the samurai standing alone on a pile of bodies. tl;dr Great game!
Usually when a story tries to 'take the p**s' so to speak, it becomes pretty weak, but this was pretty amusing. Gameplay made up for it though. NEED MOAR DIAMONDS!
